Heart Tugs For Pups Project

Heart Tug Update:

January 2010.  We are happy to announce we delivered 50 tugs during the 2009 holiday season.  We also baked 400 biscuits to share with the residence at Animal Friends Forever!

Green Dog Delicacies is organizing our first annual Heart Tugs for Pups. We have a big vision and need your help!

Our goal is to supply local rescue groups with much needed safe chew toys for Christmas.

While our doggie grandma from Iowa was visiting Texas this past summer she made the gang some tugs for playtime.  The tugs were and still are a huge hit with our guys here at home. 

With the fun our guys were having we decided to handcraft tugs for the dogs of all ages at local rescues that are still waiting for their forever home. 

Our commitment at Bussho Canine is to give back to the rescue community. We all agreed the tug project would be perfect!

The tugs will be delivered in early December; we have a huge job ahead of us.  We have been searching the Resale shops  and asking friends and family for old worn wool sweaters, shawls, blankets, anything wool.  We still need more.  If you are cleaning out closets, etc. while getting ready for the holidays and come across an old ‘wool rag’, we’ll take it!   

Our blog will be up soon, and we will keep you posted on our vision and progress.

Heart Tugs For Pups will be a yearly holiday committment, so we will gladly take any old sweaters off your hands anytime throughout the year.
